This is Jeremy Laursen, founder of Canandaigua Music Institute. I am the guitar teacher and the theory teacher at CMI (CLICK HERE for a bio). We offer the lessons that you are looking for. Every student that walks into the CMI office is taught according to that student's wants. If you are looking to learn a song then that is our goal. If you are looking to improve your soloing through the use of modes then that is our goal.
The first thing we do is sit down and discover your musical interests, your intentions with your music, and where you currently stand on that path. From there lesson plans are born and we immediately set out to attain your goals.
